Like David

They try to lure you to drop your weapon,

So that they can come in and take you on.

Stop, look, sit to listen; never loose guard.

Even if the situation seems to be hard.

Just hold on and push through,

And let all your ways be true.

From morning to evening praise in a song,

To keep you awake and forever strong.

For the Lord your God is with you,

There's nothing He says and can never do

It is okay, to feel that it is not okay;

Each day you feel that way, go on your knees and pray.

Like David, hold onto the weapon given.

Make your heart, your soul; the spirit haven.

Desist from every devilish actions,

And go by the Lord's instructions.

"I Am" said many times in the holy scripture,

With you; behold Him always as your only teacher.

For man just sees you, but God knows you better,

And willing to take you higher

Heed on, again, drop not your weapon;

For the enemy to take chances upon

Like David, if born to be a king,

Then you must be a master of the ring.
