beyond the horizon

When we choose to stay adamant,

Not because we do not hear their rant;

Just that we have figured it all out,

And found less to be consent about.

Now what we give is all we have;

But the best seems not to be enough;

Should we throw our hands in the air,

Just in case we can no longer bear?
